I think Rei would learn, after all he like her almost the same as Kazuki does. He just don't know a damn about how to take care of a child since he cannot take care of himself (we clearly seen that at first episode).

Being forced into situations where you have to do things you're not used to are the most precious experiences. Now i can assure you that he will never forget how to treat a 4 years old sick child :)

Well... being entrusted with a child without any experience proves difficult because a wrong move can turn out really bad :S He did the right choice to goes searching for help to someone else. Not everyone would do this and give the adult medicine to the child.

This episode was so amazing, and an emotional rollercoaster. I was on the verge of crying in the second half of the episode. I really didn't expect this to happen.

The first half of the episode was so realistic. I can imagine Kazuki wanting to have a break. I mean, he had to take care of a little, hyperactive kid, and a big grown-ass, lazy man. So it was like taking care of two children who never listened to him. Well, it was too much for him in the end.

But what was the best part of the episode was the backstory of Kazuki and his former wife. I really didn't expect he actually was kind of behind her death. I can't even imagine how he had to feel. I'm glad that her sister came and actually cheered him up, and actually brought life to him again. And I absolutely loved the scene, when they were sitting in the gazebo and the weather transitioned from raining to sunny. It was beautiful.
And in the end, I'm glad that everything is now fine again within their little family.

Yeah! Kazuki’s been holding and hiding all of his pain and guiltiness inside of him for 5 years! And never expected that his late wife would be pregnant. I thought she might have been his gf/wife never crossed my mind that she would be pregnant and found death, both of them now are gone which is super sad!

Miri and Rei are the only ones who can cure and heal him from his past especially Miri! Tbh miri kinda resembles his wife but with Kazuki’s eyes, it’s like she is their daughter

Kazuki is honestly a realistic character! His backstory is tragic, but it's nice to see him take a step towards moving on. I'd love to see Rei grow a bit to akdjfakjfkjfakdf please don't be a deadbeat dad that sits around and does nothing aside from working XD

Ah, so the woman in the post-credits last episode was the younger sister of Kazuki's deceased wife/girlfriend. It's good to see Kazuki finally making an attempt to move on after having that talk with her, even if it took him a little while to get there.

Rei really needs to get his act together, lol...he was completely helpless in Kazuki's absence. ^^;

Rei couldn't survive a week without Kazuki, much less three days.

I thought Kazuki's traumatizing past wouldn't faze me, but damn I ended up shedding one tear. Imagine living with severe guilt for 5 whole years, I can't fathom how much Kazuki used to torture himself into reliving the incident so many times. I hope he heals!

The difficult part is that he has to hide the truth of his profession from everyone, so the sister keeps saying that it wasn't Kazuki's fault despite Kazuki knowing full well it was and he can't even tell her
